Flexible Pricing, Based on Your Case
We’ll adjust our pricing based on the complexity of your case. If you just want one of our attorneys to look over documents for a simple, amicable divorce, you can expect a minimal fee. On the other hand, navigating an exit from a contested 10-year marriage in which child custody and alimony are factors will be more costly. Here are some common factors that play a role in deciding how much a case will cost:
- Whether or not the divorce is contested. Contested divorces that go to trial cost more, because they’re more legally complex and require more time from the attorney to deal with negotiations.
- Child support, child custody, and alimony. If you and your spouse disagree on these details, your divorce will cost more since your attorney will need to devote time to negotiations with your spouse’s lawyer.
- Property division. If you and your spouse disagree on how your property should be divided or who gets what property, negotiating a property division arrangement will increase your fees.
